Regent Golf Selected to Manage Horseshoe Bend Country Club

Alpharetta, GA (PRWEB) May 21, 2009 -- Regent Golf is pleased to announce that it has been selected to manage Horseshoe Bend Country Club, a private country club located in Roswell, Georgia. At Horseshoe Bend, Regent Golf will manage all aspects of club operations including golf operations, course maintenance, food and beverage, tennis, swimming and membership services.

Originally designed in 1974 by Joe Lee and redesigned by Bill Boswell in 1999, the golf course features 5 holes along the historic Chattahoochee River, with more than two miles of beautiful river frontage. Lakes, streams and creeks are intertwined along the course, adding both beauty and playing difficulty. The Atlanta Journal Constitution selected the ninth hole as one of the best eighteen holes in the state of Georgia.

Horseshoe Bend has hosted numerous professional and amateur tournaments including three PGA Senior Tour events, multiple Rolex National Junior Golf Championships, Georgia amateur tournaments and U.S. Open qualifiers. PGA Tour players Phil Mickelson, Bob May and Dudley Hart are among those that have won tournaments at Horseshoe Bend.

With a 14 court tennis complex, Horseshoe Bend is actively involved in USTA and ALTA programs at a wide range of ages and levels. The complex has hosted some of the world's top tennis professionals as the site of the AT&T Challenge Invitational tournament.
